With Synergo, our Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) accredited collaborator, we will provide you with the services, skills and qualifications to operate your challenge course(s) within American National Standards Institute (ANSI) ACCT standards. Synergo is an ACCT Professional Vendor Member (PVM).

Challenge Course Management
ACCT standards include having all challenge course operations supervised by a qualified Challenge Course Manager (CCM). Supervision includes regular inspections in addition to your annual external inspection, policy and procedure review and publishing, regular safety reviews, and supervision of Challenge Course Practitioners (CCPs).

Challenge Course Practitioner Training and Certification
Pathfinder hosts periodic open enrollment trainings. We are happy to contract with you to deliver training at your site. Certification testing is administered by Synergo the day following training.
Completion of training does not guarantee certification. It is the responsibility of the trainee to develop competency and understanding to pass both a written test and a practical test with 80% and no critical errors.
Challenge Course Practitoner Level I is the entry level certification for all facilitators. It is a license to learn.
Training and Certification Schedule

• belayed activity technical skills
Prerequisites: None
Duration: Minimum 40 hours plus testing
Challenge Course Practitioner Level II is a certification for a fully competent facilitator.

• intermediate facilitation and technical skills
• rescue skills
• problem solving skills
Prerequisites: 200 hours of documented challenge course facilitation
40 hours of formal challenge course training
Duration: Minimum 40 hours plus testing
Challenge Course Manager is a lateral certification to CCP Level II with additional skills in program and personnel management. Training and Certification Schedule

500 hours of documented challenge course facilitation
